Beef keoy teow is one of my favorite food, its simply easy, quick and yes its delicious. The fact that I enjoy having noodles than rice. One of the famous hawker food; I made it simple as it could be but of course the main ingredient beef is included! That's the main ingredients anyway.
Keoy teow is available at the supermarket or wet market are mostly anywhere here in Malaysia. It's impossible if your area doesn't have it... Food that you can find in the hawker's or even dine in restaurant.
I love noodles very much; so basically I like it with soup, spicy, etc..making this beef noodle is actually simple and quick.
200g Sliced Beef
400g Kway Teow
100g Bean Sprouts
3 stalks spring onions, cut into lengths
1 small yellow onion, sliced
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp light soy sauce
2 tbsp dark soy sauce
2 tsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp water
2 tsp corn flour
2 tbsp cooking oil
1. Marinade sliced beef with the marinade for at least 30 minutes.
2. Heat up the wok & add some oil, fry the sliced beef for 2 minutes & set aside.
3. Add in beaten egg & fry till fragrant. Add kway teow & fry for 2 minutes. Add bean sprouts, spring onion & yellow onion & fry for another 2 minutes.
4. Add sauce mixture & fry till fragrant. Add in sliced beef & toss.
5. Serve & enjoy.
