Pizza dough - Only two Ingredients

Lovelies, I just gotta share this one..everyone loves a good pizza don't we? sometimes when make our own pizza it didn't turn out perfect as the food chain style. Sometimes even our topping turn out so so delicious..our crust may taste a little thick or something..even there are days you want to eat homemade pizza but you're just so lazy to prepare the whole dough thingy ingredients don't you? flour, yeast, water..and so on..Well, we do have those days. Just want something that is quick yet its taste good.

We add some generous amount of cheese and roll them to get the cheesy flavour from the inside crust.

I discovered another way of making this pizza dough much easier for us. You only need two ingredients. Yes just TWO! that's Greek yoghurt and self raising flour..yup only that and you'll get your perfect crust and plus soft. Like for us, not only the topping plays the important parts but both gives you the smooth quality.

After you mixed these two ingredients you can straight add your topping  and bake them. You don't need to wait for it risen at all. These combination will help its to risen during your mixing. How easy right?!

All you need is 1 cup of self - raising flour and 1 cup of Greek yoghurt to make your pizza. and extra flour to dust your cutting board.

Mix the two ingredients together until they form into a ball. Next, flour your work surface and your hand so the dough won't stick, remove the dough to your work surface. Knead for 5-9 minutes. Roll it out to your desired. You can make it thickness or thinness and spread with sauce and topping then bake for 12 minutes.

We made 3 pizza. Well I love pepperoni so my husband agrees on putting the 3 pizza with it lol..the first pizza was beef peperoni, olive, bell peppers, fresh tomato, can pineapple, mozzarella and creamy brie cheese. 2nd one we put button mushroom, olives, peppers, cheese, chicken pepperoni and the dough we mix it with cheese as well. My husband  loves cheese..he will continuously add on until you just gotta stop it lol..for the 3rd, the add cheese edges of the crust and roll them.

You just gotta try this awesome dough!

If you think your daily intake of grapes and apples are good sources of Vitamin C, think again. Chinese red dates have triple higher levels of Vitamin C!Red dates is a type of Chinese herbs. It can be cook as soup and as dessert drink as you wish. It gives a sweet taste to soup and drinks. This delicious sweet dates is good for women, as it helps to gives you glowing skin, pregnancy, also good for mommies. Red dates and longan tea is one of the common drink during confinement.

This delicious red dates is pack with full of nutrients. Fresh red dates, rich in calcium, iron, potassium and magnesium. Red dates helps lower blood pressure, reverse liver disease, treat anemia,  red dates extracts are also used in skin care products used to diminish wrinkles, relieve dry skin, and treat sunburn pain.
It also helps to cool down your cold and flu. Have to says red dates can help almost for all the treatment! You can drink it daily for health purpose.

Ingredients :

7 dried red dates
400 ml water
7 dried longan

(dried longan)

Method :

Rinse the dates cleaned with water.

Soak it in 400 ml of hot water for one hour.
Transfer this to a small sauce pan/pot and let it boil on a very very low heat for one hour. The heat has to be super low or you will end up with no water at the end of one hour. The idea is to let it cook slowly and release whatever the red dates need to release into the water and this will be your tea
Let it cool down and ready to drink.

Its safe to feed your toddler this drink. As I gave to my boy when is down with cold, its cooling.

Classic oats porridge is hard to beat. Rich in protein and a decent source of iron too.  I love a good creamy porridge especially during breakfast. However, you can have oats at anytime. Instead having the sweetish flavor; you can chop some vegetables and chicken cook them together. And yes it is very filling and healthy. I remember when I was small the only thing I love to eat was OATS.

I will take it for breakfast, lunch and even dinner but eventually as I grew up I get bored with it. Somehow when I was pregnant the feeling of eating oats came back and ever since that moment I love it till today! Oh yum! its just heaven and I feel so healthy :p

If you are feeding your little babies, avoid the honey and sultanas.

Ingredients :

100 g cook oats
500 ml whole fresh milk

Method :

Put the oats in a small pan with the milk. Bring to the boil, stirring often to break up any lumps, then reduce the heat to low. Simmer stirring frequently, for 3 minutes, until the mixture is thick and the oats is tender. Be careful as the thickening porridge can spit while its cooks.

Cool the porridge a little before serving. You can cool it with a splash of cold milk, or stir in some fruits puree. In fact, any dried fruits is a good accompaniment. A drizzle of honey is good too!

Can add some fresh apple and sultana its a nice way to sweeten porridge without using refined sugar.

Seared tiger prawns with garlic, chilli and lemongrass

We found this recipe through one of Gordon Ramsay recipe but we slightly change a bit here and there. We follow exactly how he prepared and marinate his prawn but we add in long beans and water to add some gravy in it.

this recipe is really delicious, you have to try to believe it :)

12 large raw tiger prawn, peeled - tail shell on
3 peeled garlic cloves
2 deseeded red chilli's
2 stalks lemongrass
2.5 cm piece fresh root ginger peeled
1 medium onion, chopped
5 tablespoons olive oil
75 g French beans, topped and tailed, chopped into 1 cm/½in pieces
1/2 cup  water
Sea salt

I'm not fond to Gordon Ramsay because he likes to curse a lot! Its like watching a cursing show instead of cooking show but on the other side my dear husband like him very much. He collected all his recipe books! After reading his recipe books, I loved his recipes! Its simple most of the time.

1.Put the tiger prawns in a shallow dish.

2.Pound the garlic, chillies, lemongrass and ginger together using a pestle and mortar, gradually adding the olive oil until you have a rough paste (or whiz briefly in the blender).

3.Season with salt and pepper.Baste the prawns with the spice paste and leave to marinate in a cool place for 2-3 hours.

4.Add in the olive oil and chopped onion, stir it until you can get the fragrant smells from the onion. Add in the french beans and marinated prawn in the pan and cook them gently and well combined with the flavors. Lastly add in the water to bring out some gravy in the dish. Serve with warm rice.
